We enjoy experimenting with different leather textures together with innovative results and love the handcrafted feel it gives to the belts. Our new Belafonte design (Named after the legendary ‘Calypso King€™ himself) brings a fluid swirl like flow to the belt with waves of Dadino textured leather overlaid onto a smoother cordovan leather surface. Our new tip shape is sharper and more contemporary and lends itself well to the swirl design that adorns it. To complete the handcrafted look we hand-burnish the leather to reveal both darker and lighter tones for a premium artisanal feel. In this sublime version, the resulting belt is striking: The black surface is brushed off to reveal flashes of rich vibrant red leather beneath, radiating real attention to detail. For us the design itself is strong enough that the resulting buckle choice can naturally be more low key -This combination is completed by a Satin Gunmetal angled edge prong buckle to tone in with the black tones of the belt, letting the red colour and hand finished details really shine through and be the focus of attention. Without doubt this is one of our most distinctive and special belts and could be worn casually, but will be especially good with smarter casual wear/evening-wear (on black, grey or Navy) for a sleek contemporary look that will really show how much of a belt connoisseur you are.
